Navya Naveli Nanda, granddaughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, is currently soaking in student life at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, where she’s pursuing a Blended Post Graduate Programme. On Tuesday, she gave her Instagram followers a peek into her life on campus, and it's full of learning, laughter, and Maggi.

Navya posted a carousel of photos capturing moments from her academic journey. The first picture shows her sitting with two friends, laptop on lap, exuding that typical study-group vibe. Another photo offers a glimpse of the iconic IIM-Ahmedabad corridor, while a group picture shows Navya and her classmates dressed in white IIM polo t-shirts, flashing wide smiles.
From fun group selfies and aesthetic campus shots to a nostalgic canteen spread featuring samosas, French fries, and a bowl of Maggi, the post highlights the joy of everyday moments in student life. The final slide is a mirror selfie from an elevator, where Navya and her friends pose casually, summing up their camaraderie.
In her caption, Navya wrote, “A campus that turned into home,” with a red heart emoji, a sentiment many students and alumni of the prestigious institute would relate to.
Navya’s mother, Shweta Bachchan, responded with a “Yumm” and a noodles emoji, clearly eyeing the canteen food featured in the post.
Facing critics with grace
Last year, when Navya was accepted into IIM Ahmedabad, a section of social media users questioned her admission, alleging privilege and money played a role. But Navya had addressed the criticism head-on during an interview with India Today.

“Social media has been a great platform because it's given a lot of people a voice... India has some of the finest institutions in the world, and being a part of IIM Ahmedabad is incredible,” she said, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to study under top educators.
She added, “If I consider myself to be working for people, I don't think I can be offended by what they say... It’s essential for me to look at feedback; it will only make me a better person, a better entrepreneur, and a better Indian.”
