Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid asked Ranvir Singh about the conversation she had with someone who attended the far-right rally led by Tommy Robinson on Saturday. Susanna began: "So you were in London and met somebody who was going on that march?"
Ranvir replied: "Yes, it was really interesting, actually. I had to change my plans, which made me sad, as I thought I should be able to go into London and feel safe. I live here, and this is my place. But I didn't take my son in, and that made me feel sad. I felt it wasn't safe for my little brown boy to be in London - it's a sad thing."

Co-host Richard Madeley interjected: "So you didn't feel safe because of the colour of your skin?"
She replied: "Yeah, I just didn't want him to be exposed to anything at Euston Station; there were a lot of people when we got there."
Ranvir went on to explain a "really jolly white guy" told her he was going to join the Tommy Robinson march and they "just started chatting".
She explained: "He said he was curious to see how fascist these people really are." He told Ranvir he was worried about illegal migration, and when he left, she "gave a little grimace".
She added: "I am going to say he was a lovely man even though he was going to a far-right march. In my opinion going to support someone like Tommy Robinson makes me feel deeply uncomfortable, but the point is, you have to feel the pinch and have a conversation with someone."
The star went on to say she cannot believe "150,000 people are racists", adding: "That isn't my experience of this country. It doesn't seem right to me."
Tommy Robinson claimed his rally drew "three million patriots" to the streets of London, branding it the largest protest in British history. However, the Metropolitan Police estimated the attendance at about 110,000.
Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays from 6am to 9am on ITV and ITVX.
