Prince Harry once had a hilarious nickname for money when he was a young boy, a former royal butler has revealed. Paul Burrell, who worked for the late Queen before spending the last ten years of Princess Diana's life as her butler and close confidante, has shared a sweet story about Harry when he was a child.
While Paul may have been a butler, he was very close with Diana, Princess of Wales and therefore spent a lot of time with both Prince William and Prince Harry when they were growing up. Paul also introduced the Princes to his own sons, whom they would sometimes play with at Highgrove.
It was here where a young Prince Harry gave money a hilarious nickname.
Burrell exclusively revealed to Express.co.uk that the Duke would offer money to his sons, asking them if they wanted a "Pink Granny", which was a £50 note, or a "Blue Granny".
Burrell, speaking for Casino.org, said: "My fondest memory of Harry is when he used to build snowmen in the gardens of Windsor and Highgrove with my boys. Harry was always a generous and sensitive boy.
"He would like nothing better than to give my boys a "Pink Granny" or a "Blue Granny". Now you'd prefer a pink granny, because that was a £50 note and that's what he called it - it had his Granny's face on it! So now if anyone ever offers you a pink or a blue granny, definitely take the pink granny!"

Burrell said Harry, who was "very kind", would want to give money to his sons so they could save up for whatever they wanted.
It is not known how old Harry was when he would make such generous offers.
This revelation comes just months before Burrell's new book, titled The Royal Insider, is set to be published.
The memoir, which is set to reveal untold stories of his life working for the Royal Family, will be published in September. While he has published a memoir before - called A Royal Duty - Burrell said this book will tell his story in full.
