Rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs is set to learn his fate this week as 12 jurors in his sex-trafficking trial deliberate following his lengthy trial. The 55-year-old was arrested last September and faces charges including racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The American music mogul could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted.
Mr Combs has pleaded not guilty and has denied all allegations against him with the support of his lawyer Marc Agnifilo. Dozens of prospective jurors were screened before being whittled down to just 12 with six alternatives. Throughout the trial, the jury heard from 34 witnesses, including ex-girlfriends, former employees, male escorts and federal agents - including from stars like Kid Cudi and Combs' ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
Deliberations began on Monday (June 30), but things took an unexpected turn when the jury passed two notes to the presiding judge. Join us as we follow the latest updates coming live from the US courthouse.
