One star of Channel 5's said that he should "hand in his P45" after a day went horribly wrong. The son of Amanda Owen was back to document life in the countryside, as his co-star made a huge mistake.
Reuben and his farmhand friend, Capper, had been working on restoring a private road on the way to the farm as a favour to his mum, . However, while working on the job, they encountered a bit of a problem. Reuben shared: "It's quite nice to be doing jobs for your family. You tend to put your own jobs off, and I have been putting this job off for ages. But mum has just finally given me enough stick that, today, we are going to tackle it."

The Channel 5 star had treated himself to a new loading shovel, and he let his friend, Capper, have a go. But that's when things began to go very wrong. The co-star decided to take the farm equipment for a spin on a grassy area, before getting it very stuck in the mud.
Reuben stood looking at the mess in dismay as he exclaimed: "It's just bad, isn't it?" Capper, feeling very sorry, replied: "I do apologise, Reuben." He then offered an explanation as to what had happened, adding: "So yeah, I parked it there [in the grass], thinking it was hard. It looked hard.
"But then it sunk and got more stuck and more stuck and more stuck. I'm just going to fill in my P45 now, while I'm on it. Today is not my day." The star then rubbed his face in anguish as the team had to work on a way to rectify the huge mistake.

Reuben scolded his friend, saying: "What did I say before you parked it there?" Capper replied: "Not on the grass. I'm a k***head. Employee of the month it is. I don't know whether to laugh or cry, or both."
Amanda then turned up to add insult to injury as she said she had come to check on the mending of the road. "He doesn't seem to be mending the road, but he also seems to be wrecking the field," she pointed out. "And even better, it's not our field, it's our next-door neighbour's. So it looks like things are not going to plan, and it looks like a bit of a disaster at the moment."
Eventually, after some impressive teamwork, the tractor was pulled out of its muddy ditch. It was a great end to a stressful day and no one lost their job.
