Does think we're all as daft as he is? And does he imagine for a single second that any of us were fooled by his phoney hardman stance on this week? He stood in front of this nation introducing his weak, watery, totally ineffectual White Paper on immigration and lied to our faces yet again.
He tried to pretend he's no longer the zealot who not so long ago shouted that all immigration laws were racist, who campaigned to stop the deportation of 50 Jamaican criminals, who wanted to give all foreigners the vote, who screamed for open borders and welcomed all immigrants peddling the lie that they're good for the . But now, suddenly, he expects us to believe that HE suddenly thinks there's way too much immigration and that if it continues Britain will become a "nation of strangers" - a comment one of his own MPs described as Far Right.
And the supreme irony here is that as Starmer was spouting this hypocritical nonsense and insisting he's the man to take back control of Britain's borders - hundreds of illegals pitched up here in small boats, the cockier of whom were laughing and giving the V sign that said: "Hey we made it to Benefits Britain. Happy times!"
And right there was absolute proof, if we needed it, that Starmer and his ineffectual government have totally lost control of our borders.
More importantly, those people who'd just arrived - swaggering and triumphant - represented millions of pounds that British taxpayers will now have to fork out to feed and house people with not evidence they will contribute anything useful to this country.
But these are the very people who for years Starmer has welcomed. He's never wanted to curb immigration. He and his party have bust a collective gut to facilitate the huge numbers coming here both legally and illegally.
He's actually made a career, both political and professional, in supporting immigrants - even the ones who hurt and kill people. And suddenly we're supposed to believe he's no longer that man?
Nope, Starmer's Damascene conversion is nothing to do what's right for the British people (he insisted it was ) its 100% to do with the fact that Reform whipped Labour's ass in the local elections last week and now he's running scared.
As are all the other Labour hypocrites - Raynor, Lammy, Brigit Phillipson - all of whom in the past have attacked the Tories for trying to curb immigration but are now propping up their flailing leader because they see he, and their jobs, are in danger.
So they've dumped their flimsy principles to say "Yes, there IS too much immigration" because they think it might keep them in power.
Newsflash!!!! It won't. No-one believes a single word any of these shysters say. They're the same people who for years have spat on Brexiteers, claiming they were racist savages. And they've been spitting on everyone ever since who dared to voice legitimate concerns about out of control immigration.
Don't forget Starmer's not only the man who campaigned to keep 50 Jamaican criminals in this country, he also used his maiden speech in parliament in 2015 to challenge Tory proposals to replace Human Rights act with a British Bill of Rights.
In that same speech he shouted down a Tory attempt to stop dangerous foreign criminals using human rights laws to avoid deportation AND he demanded free movement after Brexit with full voting rights for EU nationals.
Even this week his hypocrisy was laid bare when details were leaked about him and the EU having made a pact to commit to the ECHR which will be revealed at this month's post-Brexit summit.
So, with Starmer in charge we're never leaving the ECHR which means we'll never be able to deport foreign criminals and activist lawyers will continue getting British passports for illegals and criminals who come up with farcical excuses about why they must stay here.
And never forget it was Starmer who the minute he got into power threw out Rwanda scheme, the only deterrent we had. He also dismantled a Tory law that said every person coming here illegally would be immediately deported.
And he's thwarted and dismantled every single thing the Tories had put in place to curb immigration. But now we're supposed to believe HE wants to stop it all, that he's a new man because as he so dramatically said this week "the experiment is over, I'm shutting down the lab" like immigration was some kind of Tory experiment that had gone wrong.
Has he forgotten it was Tony Blair in 2004 who flung open Britain's doors to hundreds of thousands of EU nationals? If Starmer was serious about tackling immigration he'd have put a cap on the numbers who could come here - he purposely didn't.
Yvette Cooper has already said Labour's White Paper will only cut legal immigration, which last year was 800,000, by a piddling 50,000 which is about the same number of people who came here illegally last year.
Another of his watery proposals that won't ever work is the one saying people who can't speak English can't stay. What so we're expected to believe he'll chuck them out if they can't?
Hell, we don't deport peados and drug barons who've committed crimes so he's never going to deport someone who can't speak English.
THIS is why we've learned not to believe a word that comes out of Starmer's mouth. This weaselly immigration paper and his transparent attempt to take on Reform has failed and made him look a bigger idiot than he already does.
Because we know in our guts that none of the proposals will work largely because Starmer and his Government don't have the will to impose them.
But doesn't that White Paper show just how tin eared Starmer still is when it comes to the British people? Did he really think that tepid, lacklustre offering of proposals on Monday would drag voters away from Reform and back to the Labour fold?
If anything it'll have done the opposite and strengthened Reform's ranks by tens of thousands. Not least because of everything he said in that speech he failed to mention the illegals coming in small boats. A record 12,000 have come so far this year - 2,500 up on the same time last year.
And 35,000 have come since Labour came to power. But he didn't see fit to mention that despite the fact it's precisely this kind of immigration that incenses Brits and has driven them into the arms of Reform.
Kier Starmer should not be the Prime Minister of this country - even those in his own ranks aren't buying his latest stance on immigration and have turned on him. So he's not just despised by a majority of British people but also by many of his own MPs - who see him as a turncoat. How much longer can this deadbeat limp on?
