has added another tournament to her schedule as she bids to fine-tune her game ahead of Wimbledon. The British No. 2 is already set to compete in the new 500 event at London's Queen's Club in the first week of the grass season, and she has now taken a wildcard into the Berlin Tennis Open the following week.
Tournament organisers announced the news in a press conference on Wednesday. Along with Raducanu, Naomi Osaka and German star Eva Lys have also received wildcards. The Berlin Tennis Open is another WTA 500 event, giving Raducanu the chance to get some extra matches and ranking points before heading back home for Wimbledon.
Raducanu had a strong grass swing last year - she reached the semi-final in Nottingham and the quarter-final in Eastbourne before making it into the second week of Wimbledon, and she will hope to repeat her heroics in 2025.
The world No. 43 is part of a strong field in Berlin, with nine of the world's top 10 signed up to play. Iga Swiatek is the only player inside the top 10 who has not appeared on the entry list.
World No. 1 , , and defending champion are all set to head to Berlin from June 14 to 22.
The Berlin Tennis Open takes place during the same week as the WTA 250 event in Nottingham, which has moved on the calendar this year. But Raducanu has opted to head to Germany instead of staying on home soil.

Before making her debut in Berlin, Raducanu will still be in action in the UK at Queen's. It's the first time in more than 50 years that a WTA Tour event will be staged in London.
Raducanu could also enter Eastbourne on the week of June 23, which has been downgraded to WTA 250 status after being a 500-point tournament.
The 22-year-old has been keen to fill her calendar this season after playing a more limited schedule in 2024 after returning from multiple surgeries.
After losing in the fourth round of the Italian Open on clay, Raducanu took a late wildcard into Strasbourg this week to get some more matches on the surface ahead of the .
It's set to be non-stop competition for Raducanu for the next few weeks after making the decision to compete in Berlin.
As of Wednesday, the full entry list for the WTA 500 event includes Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, Pegula, Paolini, Mirra Andreeva, Madison Keys, Qinwen Zheng, Emma Navarro, , Diana Shnaider, , Elina Svitolina, Karolina Muchova, Amanda Anisimova, Daria Kasatkina and Donna Vekic.
Belinda Bencic has entered using her special ranking of No. 15 while Raducanu, Osaka and Lys have wildcards.
