
Former teen idol Donny Osmond has proudly showed off his growing family on Instagram after the recent arrival of his 16th grandchild - and his fans have gone wild over the news. Donny, and his wife of 47 years, Debbie shared an image with the baby boy when he arrived. Now Donny has gone one better and taken to social media to show off his entire family.
In a carousel of images he begins with a stylish publicity image of himself with the words, "Told them I had a big family," emblazoned on it.
He followed that with a sweet image of him and Debbie sitting beside each other on a sofa looking loved up with the caption: "Oh, so you guys have a couple of kids?"
The final image showed Donny and Debbie beaming broadly, sitting on camping chairs both holding a baby grandchild as they were surrounded by their children and other grandchildren with the words "holy airball" across it. He proudly captioned the post: "16 grandchildren and counting! #DonnyOsmond #Dad #Grandpa #Family."
His followers were thrilled with the update and flooded the comment section with supprt and delight at the insight into the legendary singer's family life. "Beautiful family!! It's good to see you enjoying them!" one exclaimed.
Another added: "Wow! Beautiful amazing family that's quite an achievement. Gorgeous pictures thank you for sharing congratulations."
A third chimed in: "I've been following you since I was in high school. Happy to see you married well and happy with your wife, kids and grandkids. What a blessed life! "
A fourth observed: "I love seeing you and Debbie with your family. Grandchildren are a joy! I have five grandchildren. Being a grandmother is a joy!" Meanwhile a fifth penned: "Wow you are so lucky to have such a big and lovely family."
Donny and Debbie married in 1978 and welcomed their first son Don Jr a year later. They went on to have five sons in total. Don now runs his own marketing firm, OzComm.
Their second born, Jeremy Osmond, is a physical therapist. Third son Brandon is part of a design agency in Provo, Utah, and also owns his own company.
Fourth son Chris has somewhat followed in the family footsteps. He expressed an interest in music and performing from an early age, and took piano lessons as a child and DJ'd as a teen. He has released three singles and appeared in season two of Claim to Fame, where contestants were stumped as to who his celebrity relative was.
Meanwhile Donny and Debbie's fifth son Joshua spent the two years serving as a missionary for the Church of Latter-day Saints in Rome, Italy until 2018. He married two years after returning home.
