Oasis stars' children pose with Manchester City's Pep Guardiola in 'photo of the century'

The Gallagher clan has shown their bond is unbreakable as Oasis returned to their hometown for their Manchester gigsthis weekend.

Just last week, Liam Gallagher, 52, and his elder brotherNoel Gallagher, 58, launched their much-anticipated reunion tour, rocking the stage in Cardiff to the delight of thousands of devoted fans,while those who missed out on tickets tuned in via TikToks and livestreams.

This concert marked the first time the quarrelling brothers have shared a stage since their break up in 2009, with their months-long global tour now predicted to net them a cool £50million each. But before jetting off to Asia, Australia, and South America, Liam and Noel are set to entertain their Mancunian fans, with their children cheering them on through every tune.

Ahead of the inaugural Manchester show at Heaton Park, Gene Gallagher, Liam's 24 year old son, shared a photo on social media that sent Oasis fans into a frenzy. Posing backstage, Gene was accompanied by his brother Lennon, 25, Noel's daughter Anais, 25, and his sons Donovan, 17, and Sonny, 14.

In the middle of them was Spanish football manager Pep Guardiola, 54, who likely received VIP treatment given Noel's long-standing support for Man City, which Guardiola has been managing since 2016.

They all stood grinning,arms draped around each other, drinks in hand, and VIP lanyards hanging around their necks.Gene, who boasts a following of 270k on Instagram, cheekily captioned his post: "Pic of the century alright now everyone els f**k off".

Gene's mum, Nicole Appleton, responded to the post with a smiley face and a heart emoji, while her sister, Natalie, commented: "Fabulous photo!! Cousins" with a heart emoji too. One fane wrote: “you're right this is the pic of the year”, while another hailed the snap as “Legendary!” as a third expressed: “This brings joy to my heart.”

Several followers also noticed Gene's outfit choice, as one said: “Is it only me that realise that gene is wearing liam flanel when he played at mainedroad 1996”. Another tweeted: “THE MAINE ROAD JACKET YES” with a fire emoji.

This comes after just last week,Gene and Anais, were spotted belting out the lyrics to Oasis songs in a sweet moment shared online.While Oasis were performing Cigarettes & Alcohol, Gene and Anais went all out as they danced and sang along to the popular track. In a moment filmed for the camera, the two leaned towards each other as they screamed out the chorus.

Fans were obsessed with the sweet moment,with one fan sharing the video online and writing: "Anaïs and gene you're so real for this," while another fan said: "Oh i love them so much."

"Awe love this," one user commented while another joked about the VIP section they were standing in: "Thought they’d be closer to the front!"

After Oasis' first performance on Friday, Anais shared her review of the reunion gig as she shared a snap of herself, holding a pint while sporting an Oasis shirt as she watched her dad and uncle perform on stage. Giving a review of the special night, Anais, 25, captioned the snap: "It's good to be back."
