However after months of drama, back in March, Conor put out a statement to say He wrote at the time: "Earlier this week, I took a paternity test regarding Charlotte Chilton's baby girl, Penelope, in the presence of her legal representative. Today I've received the test results which confirm that I am not Penelope's father.
"I am glad that the speculation can finally be put to an end. All I would ask is that people act with kindness in response to this news - there is a child at the heart of all of this and that should not be forgotten. I wish Charlotte and her family all the best. Conor."
Now, Conor, who had previously spoke out about his struggles with anxiety at the time, told hosts and about the struggles he faced during that time.
"The last year has been really difficult, and mental health has been something I've struggled with for a big portion of my life," he began. "This most recent year has definitely been up there in terms of my experience and battle with it.

"A lot of things have contributed to why things have been so difficult," the star continued.
Paddy then went on to ask Connor how he felt when he found out he wasn't the father, but "funnily enough it wasn't an instant relief," he told hosts.
"I actually felt like I was going to have a massive panic attack the second I found out," Connor admitted. "That's the diffcult truth about mental health. When something traumatic happens to you, the second that traumatic event stops you don't think, 'Oh I'm fine now.' It doesn't work out like that."
Although Conor's friends wanted to go out for a drink that night, the star admitted he didn't feel up to it, and opted to stay in with his girlfriend instead.
Summing up his emotions, Connor continued: "It was confusion, and feeling like, 'Why did that have to happen?'"
Concluding, the singer said: "When the result came in, it was unbelievable, but it wasn't instant relief. It took a lot of time to process and really understand."
reached out to Charlotte's representative to offer them a right of reply, however, they declined to comment at this time.
