The match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad was to be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, but now the venue has been changed to Lucknow. The reason for this is said to be bad weather. Let us remind you that on May 17, the match between RCB and KKR was washed out due to rain.

 

On May 17, the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders was declared cancelled due to rain. Since there is a possibility of heavy rain in Bangalore in the next few days, the match between SRH and RCB to be held on May 23 will now be played at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. In the last few days, there has been continuous rain and cloudy sky in Bangalore. Now the change in the schedule clearly means that RCB will play both its last matches in the league stage at the Ekana Stadium, as it has to play its last match against LSG in Lucknow.

 

If reports are to be believed, the RCB management was informed about the change in venue on Tuesday evening. The change in venue can be called good news for RCB, because there is almost no chance of rain in Lucknow in the coming days. Due to the weather, RCB may lose the chance to make it to the direct qualifier 1. The Bangalore team is currently in second place in the points table with 17 points and it still has 2 matches left in the league stage.

 

Royal Challengers Bangalore have 2 matches left and they can go directly to Qualifier 1 by finishing in the top-2 in the points table of IPL 2025. They still have to play one match each with SRH and LSG.
