Kasganj: The UP govt inaugurated 60 projects worth Rs 724 crore in Kasganj, including a Rs 191-crore ultra-modern police lines spanning 25.63 hectares. The facility, equipped with 1,000-capacity barracks, residential quarters, and an auditorium, aims to replace dilapidated infrastructure. The CM stated it would "set a benchmark for police modernization and national security."
Accusing previous regimes of neglecting Kasganj since its 2008 formation, the CM claimed pre-2017 governments fostered "anarchy and corruption." He contrasted this with current initiatives, including a Composite School (pre-primary to Class 12) and plans to develop Soron as a spiritual tourism destination akin to Ayodhya.
Projects include lake beautification, road upgrades, and a mythological museum. The CM distributed welfare benefits, including housing keys and skill-development tablets, and honored Agra Zone’s Operation Jagriti for women’s safety initiatives.
