Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s epic court battle in Jolly LLB 3 seems to have impressed the audiences at the box office.
The Subhash Kapoor directorial recorded decent advance booking as compared to the high expectations the threequel was carrying right after the teaser launch.
Jolly LLB 3 took a low start in the morning shows but eventually witnessed a surge in the audiences by the evening for a decent opening day.

Jolly LLB 3 Opens In The Same Range As Jolly LLB 2
Also starring Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao, Jolly LLB 3 has opened to Rs 13-14 crore. Going by the morning shows, it seemed the film may barely hit double digits on day one.
While the number may seem decent, it is quite low when taken into consideration the fact that Jolly LLB 2 back in 2017 opened in the same range i.e. Rs 13.20 crore.
Since it was the third film in the franchise, the initial trade expectations were around Rs 20 crore day one.
However, the surge in the admissions in the evening shows suggests that Jolly LLB 3 may hit Rs 50 crore in the opening weekend and may eventually end up with at least Rs 150 crore lifetime biz which will be significantly higher than part two that made a lifetime total of Rs 117 crore.

Currently, Akshay Kumar’s top grosser of the year is Housefull 5 which made over Rs 160 crore but was an underperformer due to high cost. Jolly LLB 3 has a good chance of taking down that number.
It may also become Arshad Warsi’s second biggest grosser behind Golmaal Again which made Rs 205.69 crore in 2017.
