Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has announced recruitment for scientist/engineer posts. The application process for this recruitment is going on from 24th June. Interested candidates having the required qualifications can apply online by visiting https://www.isro.gov.in/ website till 14th July. A total of 39 posts will be filled under this campaign.
This is the educational qualification and age limit.
Candidates must have a graduate degree in B.E./B. Tech or Architecture. The candidate will have to choose the same branch in which he has obtained a degree in the relevant subject, such as civil, mechanical, electrical, or architecture. The maximum age limit of the applicant has been fixed at 28 years, which will be applicable as of 14th July. However, reserved categories including SC, ST, OBC, and PWD will be given relaxation in age limit as per government rules.
This is the application fee.
Candidates of all categories will have to pay Rs 750 as an application fee initially. However, this amount will be fully refunded to women, SC/ST, PWD, and ex-servicemen. On the other hand, the remaining amount will be refunded to the candidates of other categories after a deduction of Rs 500. The last date for submission of the application fee has been fixed as July 16.
This is how the selection will be done.
Candidates will be selected through two stages i.e. written examination and interview. The format of the written examination will be divided into two parts. In Part I, candidates will be asked 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based on their respective technical subjects (such as civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.). 1 mark will be given for each correct answer, while ⅓ marks will be deducted for the wrong answer. In Part II, logical ability, analytical thinking, and general ability will be assessed. In this, 15 objective questions will be asked which will be related to aptitude and ability. There is no negative marking. On passing the written examination, you will be invited for an interview, which will form the basis of the final selection.
Will get this much salary
The selected candidates will get an initial basic salary of Rs 56100 per month under the Level-10 Pay Matrix. Apart from this, they will also be given other government facilities and allowances including Dearness Allowance (DA), Housing Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA).
