Those IRCTC users whose account does not have Aadhaar authentication. Those people will not be able to avail the facility of Tatkal ticket booking.
Let us tell you that IRCTC has also informed all the users about this through mail. In which it has been told that from July 1, 2025, not only the IRCTC website but also through mobile app, only those users whose account will be Aadhaar authenticated will be able to book Tatkal tickets.
How to do Aadhaar authentication?
After the change in the rules by IRCTC, many users have a question in their mind that how will they do Aadhaar authentication. So let us tell you that this has also been mentioned in the mail made by IRCTC. To complete the authentication, you will have to log in to the official website of IRCTC www.irctc.co.in. Or you can also use the IRCTC Rail Connect mobile app.
After logging in to the website or app, you will have to go to the My Account section. There you will have to click on the authenticate user option. After this, you will have to follow the given instructions. Let us tell you that for authentication, it is necessary to have a link of your mobile number in your Aadhaar.
