NMDC Recruitment: The National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), has invited applications for various posts including Field Attendant and Electrician. These recruitments are being done for various technical and non-technical posts, mainly Field Attendant and Electrician. The recruitment drive is for its iron ore mines located at Kirandul and Bacheli (Chhattisgarh) and Donimalai (Karnataka).
The online application process will start on 25 May 2025 and end on 14 June 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website of NMDC . The application link will be available under the "Career" section from 10:00 am on 25 May to 11:59 pm on 14 June.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit
Candidates having B.Sc, Diploma, or ITI qualification are eligible to apply.
According to the rules of the Government of India, some candidates are given age relaxation in NMDC recruitment. People belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories will get 5 years of age relaxation, while Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer (OBC) will get 3 years of relaxation. Apart from this, Divyang (PwBD) and ex-servicemen will also get age relaxation as per the prescribed rules.
People who are already working in NMDC (departmental candidates), will also get age relaxation as per the rules of the company. Apart from this, if a candidate has participated in national or international sports competitions, then he can also get 5 years of relaxation, but it will be decided as per the rules of the government.
How will the selection be done?
Selection in this recruitment will be done in two phases. In the first phase, there will be OMR based test or Computer Test (CBT), which will be of 100 marks. In this test, the knowledge and ability of the candidates will be tested.
The second stage will be the Physical Efficiency Test or Trade Test, which will be qualifying in nature. This means that you must pass it, but the marks will not be counted in the merit list. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the first stage examination.

How to apply
First, visit the website www.nmdc.co.in and open the "Career" section.
Now fill out the online form and upload the required documents.
Pay the fee of Rs 150 through UPI/Credit Card/Net Banking (SBI Collect).
Print the page containing the application number and transaction number.
If the payment is unsuccessful, the money will be refunded within 10 days but the process will have to be repeated.
SC/ST, Divyang, Ex-Servicemen, and NMDC Departmental candidates are exempted from the application fee. Relevant documents should be uploaded as proof of exemption.
